Club on Grove Street were broken into during the morning of Tuesday, April 17,
police said this week. Purses were stolen from two of the vehicles, while the

The first report came in at 10:33 a.m., when a Darien resident told police that her purse had been stolen from her vehicle. She had left the vehicle at about 9:20 a.m., and when she returned at 10:30, she found that her front passenger-side window had been shattered with an unknown object.
The purse was a tote-style Louis Vuitton bag, valued at about $500, and had contained about $100 in cash as well as credit cards and her driver's license. The purse had been on the passenger side floor.
