The Voice performance show recap: The top 12 perform live
The fate of the
singers on “The Voice” is now in America's hands. Tonight show (airing November
12, 2012) was the first performance show that featured the remaining twelve
singers all performing for America's vote. There are no more coach saves. It is
very simple. Tomorrow night the two singers with the least amount of votes will
get sent home. This season there is one twist. Now a coach can be left with no
singers going into the finale. In the past they made sure each coach had one
singer left. That is no longer going to happen. The Canada
Goose Citadel Parka has long been known as the industrial parka of the
north. If the viewers end up voting out all of one coach's singers, so be it.
The stakes are high. Here is a recap of the top twelve singers in the order they performed.
Michaela Paige “Blow Me One Last Kiss” by Pink - Blake was worried because it is a hard song and he is not sure she can keep up. As she took the stage her hair was maybe the most normal it has been this season. She was her normal solid self and showed a lot of confidence. She was all smiles. She is so poised it is hard to remember that she is just 16. The judges like here with Christina and Cee Lo calling her one of their favorites. Blake gushed like a proud papa.
Dez Duron “Can't Take My Eyes Off of You” Lauryn Hill's version - Dez liked the song because he wants to be a soul singer. We found out that both his parents are pastors and he grew up singing in church. He was pretty good, maybe the best he has been so far this season, but he probably isn't all that strong of singer. Still, he is smooth and the ladies in the crowd went absolutely insane. Cee Lo called him super-cool and Adam thought he finally found his avenue. Blake agreed with the women and giggled. Christina spoke about him as if he might be the perfect guy and was impressed with his star quality.
Adriana Louise “Good Girl” by Carrie Underwood - She wanted to do something a little different with this song and rock it up a little bit. During her performance she looked great in a short, silver, sparkling dress. She moved well and even interacted with the band. By the midpoint of the song she had hit her stride and even had a little fun with Adam. The judges liked her and acknowledged that she might have had a few problems with a few of the high notes. Christina said she has been impressed that she is not afraid to try any song no matter how hard they are to sing.
Cody Belew “The Best” by Tina Turner - He was worried because it is a big song. He confessed that when he was a kid he stuttered and was in speech therapy through college. He knew he had to kill it or he was likely going home.Hi guys, I just had a few questions about the Canada Goose Banff Parka. He was pretty good, but he often feels like he is doing a parody or impersonation of someone doing the song and some of that came out again in this performance. The judges complimented his ability to put on a performance, but didn't say much about his singing. Cee Lo said he enjoys him and likes him and he enjoyed that Cody reminds them all that this show should be fun.
Amanda Brown “Spectrum” by Florence + The Machine – During rehearsals she felt the pressure and said she felt she had so much more to give. She looked amazing in a flowing dress. At times it seemed like she was straining to hit the high notes and maybe putting a little too much into them but by the end of the song she found herself and did well. Blake was impressed. Christina was impressed with her,We offer a wide selection of 19th and 20th Century wholesale canada goose. but said she was waiting to connect with who she was as an artists. Cee Lo thought she was a little constricted, but her voice reminds him of the human heart. Adam said she epitomizes everything the show is about because it was an ambitious song. He admitted she wasn't flawless, but thinks she could win the entire show.
Bryan Keith “Back to Black” by Amy Winehouse - He has a past singing in a heavy metal band and now he wants to bring an old school flavor to his performances. Dressed like Sinatra he was technically great and sounded very good, but to me he lacked the pain and anguish that this song is filled with. Blake said he is the best singer on team Adam. Christina agreed with Blake. Cee Lo liked the strength of his voice. Adam said the show basically boils down to a collection of moments and this was one of his best.
Cassadee Pope “Behind These Hazel Eyes” by Kelly Clarkson - In rehearsals she played the guitar and said this song reminded her of her strained relationship with her dad. She kept the guitar for her live performance. She captured the energy of the song and gave it a cool rock vibe. It was a very good performance that the crowd loved. Christina said it was her favorite performance from Cassadee so far and she connected with her. Cee Lo said hot chicks with guitars is a good thing. Adam was happy to get to see who she really was this week. Blake said there is something undefined about her and there are no limits for her. More importantly, he said, she has that thing that makes people love her and his comments caused her to tear up
Trevin Hunte “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Percy Sledge - Trevin said he wants to be an R&B singer. He talked about how his mom came to America from a third world country and recently she lost everything to hurricane Sandy. He looked sharp in a jacket and bow tie and for most of the song he was good, but he hit some notes at the end that brought the crowd and the judges to their feet. This guy has all the tools. Adam said he has a gift from God like he has never heard. Blake said he left nothing but blood and guts on the stage. Christina said this was the moment from him that she was waiting for. She wished she was his coach. Cee Lo said that he thought he was an angel of sorts and that he was a miracle. Cee Lo also said he was humbled and encouraged by him.
Melanie Martinez “Cough Syrup” by Young the Giant – We got to find out that her inspiration for her hair came from Cruella De Vil. She also admitted that she was nervous about this performance. For half the song she sat cross legged on the stage and she delivered a strong performance. Less can sometimes be more and she seems to understand that. While half he singers in this competition have interchangeable voices, hers is unique and I thought she was very good.Cheap Moncler Coats outlet we offer, canada goose chilliwack parka Sale Store. However, I can see how people might not like it. Blake said she had the most unique sound in the competition. Christina said she thought it was her most emotional performance so far. Adam said he liked her because she has something that is all her own and she is spectacular.
Nicholas David “The Power of Love” by Huey Lewis – He said he wants to be a soul singer that appeals to a large audience. During his performance he was in full funk mode as he grooved through the song hitting high and low notes with ease. He was strong as normal and is always fun to watch. Adam said he was strange and beautiful. Blake said he likes how he always keeps it fresh. Cee Lo said he perfectly represented what it is to be strange, unique and perfect.
Sylvia Yacoub “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion - In rehearsal she talked about how in high school she had a nodule on her vocal cord and thought she may never sing again so she doesn't take it for granted. Backed by a piano and string section she gave the song a little soul and some snarl. It was an emotional performance Cee Lo was impressed and said he was proud of her.Next you needs to have a carefully consider the Canada Goose Chateau Parka. Adam said she did a good job especially because the song is so connected to the movie and all that surrounds it. Christina was happy she made it her own and that she thinks Sylvia has a lot to offer going forward.
Terry McDermott “More Than a Feeling” by Boston - He talked about how he struggled when he lost his mom to Lou Gehrig 's disease so she isn't here to see him living his dream. The stage was setup in a way that made it look like he was fronting a rock band. He was very good. He hit the high notes and it sounded like it could have been a song written for him. Cee Lo said it was damn good. Adam said he wasn't sure if the audience realizes just how good Terry is. Blake was blown away by him and said he was just one of those guys that is just special.
Now America gets their say. Tomorrow night the bottom two will be voted off "The Voice". My personal prediction is that Cody Belew and Adriana Louise will be the ones to go. I think of the twelve they were the weakest of the night. I do think that there were others like Dez, Amanda and even Michaela who were about as good, but I think they have a likeability that will keep them around past this week.

'The Walking Dead' Recap: 'Say the Word'
The residents of Woodbury are all outside on
a nice, sunny day. They all seem to be celebrating in block-party type fashion.
Michonne still seems skeptical of the whole situation in the seemingly perfect
town. In his apartment, the Governor is brushing the hair of a little girl,
assumed to be his daughter that he had mentioned before to Andrea. As he is
brushing some hair back, a chunk of the girl's head goes with the brush. The
girl, the Governor's daughter Penny, is one of the undead and tries to attack
her father. The Governor seems to have done this before and puts Penny back into
the straight jacket he had her in and tries to calm her down after putting a bag
over her head. Michonne is standing outside the Governor's apartment, looking up
at him as he stands with his daughter.
At the prison, Rick is just picking himself up off the ground, still in a silent shock. Daryl mentions that he's going to go on a run to the nearest town to get supplies for the new born baby. Hershel points out that the baby won't make it without formula, so Daryl gets his things ready quick to head out. Maggie volunteers to go with Daryl, leaving Glenn behind this time as they were only taking Daryl's motorcycle. The Canada Goose Citadel Parka has long been known as the industrial parka of the north. As the group is finalizing the plan to get supplies, Rick gets up and grabs the nearby axe. He storms into the prison without saying a word to anyone. The four walkers (in a span of ten seconds) inside never stood a chance.
Back in Woodbury, the Governor talks to his townspeople. He toasts to their survival and what they've all built for themselves. While the Governor is pre-occupied, Michonne sneaks into his apartment. First thing's first, she grabs her sword out of the Governor's wall unit. She finds a journal on a table, complete with some notes and a list of names written inside. The last name on the list is "Penny," so it's assumed that this is a list of people that have either died or been reanimated as walkers. Not before long, Michonne hears someone coming down the hall. The Governor, Milton and Merle enter the apartment. Milton wants to postpone the night's festivities in favor of his experiments, but that idea is shot down. Michonne sneaks out the back window as the men leave the room.
After leaving the Governor's apartment, Michonne stumbles upon what seems like the industrial district of Woodbury. There are a bunch of old warehouses and a lot of "Danger" signs all around. Michonne hears a familiar sound and turns to see about five or six walkers locked up in one of the warehouses. She breaks the lock on the gate and lets the walkers out. Michonne is 100 percent in her element as she slices and dices all of the walkers up in a matter of seconds. She finally seems happy, but is then discovered by someone who was on their way to feed the walkers.
The Governor has a sit down with Michonne and gives her a speech about not being able to pull the same stunts she's used to outside the walls of Woodbury. The Governor, with Michonne's sword in hand, gets up and moves behind Michonne. She had to have been thinking he was going to kill her, only because Michonne immediately got up and flipped the situation. She grabbed her sword and holds it up to the Governor's throat. Michonne backs out of the room and heads back to Andrea.
After Andrea had a talk with the Governor, she goes back to her room to speak with Michonne, who is packing all of her stuff as Andrea arrives. Andrea explains that she wants to give Woodbury a real shot, but Michonne keeps coming back by saying her gut is telling her that the place isn't right for them. Michonne insists that the Governor is keeping secrets, but Andrea again says she wants to stay.
Glenn heads into the prison to try and find Rick. He follows the bloody trail of mutilated zombie corpses through the hallways. As he turns a corner, he sees Rick pulling the axe out of a walker's head, but Rick is unresponsive. Glenn tries to talk with Rick, but without saying a word, Rick shoves Glenn against the wall, then throws him aside and then continues into the depths of both the prison and his madness.
Maggie and Daryl arrive at a day care center and start loading up on baby supplies. In the first room they enter, there are a bunch of paper cut outs of hands on the wall. Daryl sees one with the name "Sophie" written on it, and you can tell he is still reeling from the loss of Sophia those eight months ago. There's a rattling behind a closet door, but it turns out to just be a possum. After Daryl shoots it with his crossbow, it also turns out to be dinner.
Back in Woodbury, Andrea and Michonne are walking toward the exit. Merle opens the gate for the two of them. Andrea tries to tell Michonne that they really aren't prisoners and that she wants to stay.Hi guys, I just had a few questions about the Canada Goose Banff Parka. Michonne asks if Andrea is coming with her, and when Andrea hesitates, Michonne walks out the gates. Merle has the gates shut and Andrea watches Michonne walk back out into the wild.
Daryl and Maggie return to the prison without a hitch. After filling up a bottle with formula, Daryl feeds the baby, then asks Carl if she has a name yet. Carl says he hasn't decided yet, but has a bunch of names to choose from. He starts rattling off the names of all the women they've lost so far: Carol, Sophia, Patricia, Andrea, Amy, Jaqui, and then he finishes with Lori. Meanwhile, Rick makes his way into the boiler room, the site of his baby's birth and wife's death. Lori's body isn't there, but Rick does find the bullet casing in the pool of blood. Around the corner, Rick sees a trail of blood leading to a bloated walker that is perched up against the wall.We offer a wide selection of 19th and 20th Century wholesale canada goose. Rick puts his gun in the walker's mouth and pulls the trigger. He looks at the walker's bloated belly, and the proximity to where Lori's body should have been. Rick pulls out his knife and stabs the belly of the walker like there's no tomorrow.
That night in Woodbury, the festivities that Milton and the Governor were speaking of are about to get underway.Cheap Moncler Coats outlet we offer, canada goose chilliwack parka Sale Store. The Governor leads Andrea to center row seats on bleachers set up behind the warehouses Michonne had been at earlier. Merle and Martinez get ready for what seems like a mix of Fight Club and Gladiator as they start duking it out while chained-up walkers circle the arena.Next you needs to have a carefully consider the Canada Goose Chateau Parka. Andrea is horrified with what she's seeing. She thinks this is making it seem like the walkers aren't safe. The Governor tells her that everything is fixed, that the walker's teeth have all been pulled out, and that everyone just needs to blow off some steam every now and then.
In the boiler room, Rick sits staring at the bloated walker he just killed, then had stabbed enough to kill a couple more times. He hears the baby crying, but that seems to just be in his head, because the sound of crying goes away when he hears something else. Rick hears something that would cause any man facing the zombie apocalypse to snap out of whatever funk they were in. The phone in the boiler room is ringing.
At the prison, Rick is just picking himself up off the ground, still in a silent shock. Daryl mentions that he's going to go on a run to the nearest town to get supplies for the new born baby. Hershel points out that the baby won't make it without formula, so Daryl gets his things ready quick to head out.

'The X Factor' recap: The top 12, er ... 13, perform
In a twist Wednesday night
that would have seemed far more shocking if the show hadn't pulled a similar
stunt with Melanie Amaro last season, "The X Factor" brought back contestant
Diamond White, who had been eliminated from Britney Spears' Teens team last
week.
"We watched the show back and the final 12 we are very happy
with," Simon Cowell announced at the top of the show, "but we believe we made a
mistake with one act," adding that White had been asked to rejoin the show and
become lucky No. 13.
Welcome back, Diamond.
White joined the other contestants to tackle songs from movies.
The Teens
Arin Ray performed "American Boy," by Estelle featuring Kanye West, amid sparkling lights and swaggering dancers but still managed to hold focus with his hip-shaking moves and solid vocals. "Arin, first of all, what happened to you from last year to this year?" L.A. Reid told the "X Factor" returnee, who competed as part of a group last year. "Because you're a different person than you were the first time I met you." Reid thought Ray had finally found his vocal identity. Demi Lovato thought he looked "smooth" and "like a star." Cowell complimented Spears' mentoring. And Spears thought Ray "owned it."
Beatrice Miller (mostly) overcame vocal issues to sing "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls – sounding a little like a three-pack-a-day 13-year-old. The issues may have hindered her range, but Reid didn't seem to notice, telling Miller the tone of her voice "sounds like a hit record … just sensational." Lovato liked the way Miller poured her soul into the song, and Cowell declared Miller to be "unbelievable," though he did note the vocal glitches.Thoughtful details such as interior security pockets make the Canada Goose Chateau Parka for an urban journey. Spears, however, is Miller's biggest fan, telling her she had the "best personality out of anybody in this whole competition."
Carly Rose Sonenclar moved on from the cheesy girlish costuming and concept Spears had heaped on her last week to show her vocal maturity and power with Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain." "That was really heartfelt," Reid told her. "It was honest -- I loved it, and I love you." Lovato thought the performance was "night and day" compared with last week's and said Sonenclar was really "in her element." Cowell said it sounded like a hit song and Sonenclar had "real guts," adding, "I've got a feeling with you,As possible ice also cooler flatulence out with Canada Goose Womens New heavy-duty parka. Carly, we're watching a star in the making." Spears again rolled out the big compliments, telling her mentee, "You should have closed the show, because nobody can follow that."
Diamond White stepped out in a snappy white ladytux and sang Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing," hoping to prove the judges' were right to bring her back. It may not have been her best performance (she was a little stiff), but Reid, noting that the song choice was "ambitious," thought White "brought it home." Lovato felt the performance "tugged at her heart." Cowell declared that "dreams can come true," thought the whole thing was great, and said he was so glad White was back in the competition. Spears said White "definitely channeled Whitney and she would be very proud."
Young Adults
CeCe Frey brought back her leopard spots (or whatever animal they're supposed to evoke) for her amateurish, frequently off-key and breathless take on Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger," during which she very deliberately took a moment to show off the revealingly sheer bodysuit she wore under a red satiny jacket. (Was she supposed to look like a circus ringmaster or some kind of military dictator?) Reid reluctantly admitted he hadn't been blown away by the performance. Spears thought she was a "little rebel" who "brought fire," but Cowell said that anything he'd liked about Frey to start with (whatever that was) had been "thrown away" and that the song choice was "just horrible." "Cece, you are being taken into a direction you shouldn't be going into," Cowell said, slamming mentor Lovato without mentioning her directly,The Canada Goose Constable Parka has long been known as the industrial parka of the north. and saying Frey should be making her own song choices. After Cowell's critique, Frey looked furious. (Maybe don't stand so close, Mario Lopez.) Eye of the tiger, indeed.
Jennel Garcia, who is pretty much unrecognizable compared with the soft-and-sweet-on-the-outside, sexy-on-the-inside small-town girl we met in auditions, sang a leathery "I Love Rock and Roll." Reid more-or-less rightly called it a "Joan Jett parody" lacking in originality and inventiveness. Spears,Cheap Moncler Coats outlet we offer,Canada Goose Expedition Parka Sale Store. on the other hand, thought it was "hot, hot, hot." Cowell again piled on Garcia's mentor,Cheap Canada Goose Jackets outlet Canada Goose Trillium Parka. telling her he hated what Lovato had done to her look and that she wasn't challenging her musically, either. "You are better than this," he told Garcia. "You really are." "That's why I'm her mentor, and you're not," snapped Lovato, maintaining that the young women in the audience had loved Garcia's performance.
Paige Thomas withstood a pretty serious costume malfunction – her flowy skirt blew waaay up to reveal her unexpectedly sturdy-looking underwear – and a guy manhandling her and dragging his lips across her neck to deliver solid vocals on Berlin's "Take My Breath Away." It was quite a production, and Reid thought it was "amazing" but for the song itself, which he called "good" but not "great." Spears also complimented the production values, which she thought were "shockingly" good. And Cowell didn't miss another opportunity to slam Lovato (who, I suddenly remembered, is an anti-bullying spokeswoman), saying he thought the production was overwrought and lacked imagination. Lovato has obviously learned to stick up for herself over the years and wasn't taking Cowell's mean-girl act sitting down. "Obviously, everybody in the audience disagrees with you," she told him. Snap.

Jay-Z: 99 Problems but a Mitt Ain’t One
Last night, I saw Obama in Columbus with
Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z. There's a trio to give you some kind of hope in
America. Romney was right across town with Jack Nicklaus and a bald little gnome
named Scott Hamilton. I went to both, why not, but I didn't actually stay to see
the end of either.
The Obama rally was in the downtown arena, where the Columbus Blue Jackets play. There were lots of empty seats in the upper decks. Helene Cooper from the Times seemed to remember him filling arenas like this. The reporters around me worried openly about the "enthusiasm gap." I stood with a heavy thirty-something photographer from Cincinnati and a pretty famous magazine journalist from California. The photographer said "Hey, so, guys. Don't hate me but I've voted Republican every election I've ever voted in. But I voted early for Obama." The magazine journalist said that she should contact the campaign. "They ought to make an ad about you." She was too modest.
Bruce Springsteen came on. I mean, I have a fucking Bruce Springsteen tattoo and even I was a little baffled by what the hell he was doing up there. But this is no time for rock criticism. Except to say that Jay-Z, who came on after Springsteen, played five songs that were, bar none, the most thrilling musical performance I've seen in my adult life. On stage, he related a conversation:
*Phone Rings*
Obama: Jay?
Jay: Who's this?
Obama: Jay, I need you in Ohio with me and the Boss.
Jay: You mean Michelle is coming?
He did "99 Problems" but said that he had all those problems but "a Mitt" wasn't one.
The crowd was much more a Jay crowd than a Bruce crowd. It was young, black, smaller than it might have been. Which is basically the argument pundits have been making about the Obama coalition all along. And in Ohio it's really hard not to state the really obvious: Romney can still win if black people in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Akron and Toledo haven't voted early, don't vote, if they're prevented from voting, or their ballots are disqualified in large numbers.
We are here right now in Columbus because a rally in the capital can be spun off, if you try, as a rally just in "Ohio," whereas a rally in Cleveland is a rally in Cleveland. Obama's going to win Franklin County and the city of Columbus. But there is suddenly a great deal of worry about how much he's going to win it by, and here in the press corral we are all suddenly talking about the Franklin County suburbs, which are another one of those suburban bellwethers (what is the literal definition of a bellwether? Anyone?) that supposedly decide an election at the micro scale. They drew 15,500 people to the arena, same as in Cincinnati. But in Cincinnati there were 13,500 in the actual arena and 2,000 shivering in the overflow tent. These details draw comments. The comments are not necessarily informed.
But down in Cincinnati, where Republicans have always controlled the political architecture of the surrounding Hamilton County, things are going to be wild. Last night the Times anointed it as the bellwether. But the voter disqualification effort there has been going on since the summer and it's highly developed. Obama won it in 2008. I'll grow David Axelrod's moustache if he wins it this year, but if he can come close even after all the sneaky tricks at the county board of elections and with all the True the Vote suppressionists fanning out, as I write this, to go bully black voters out of voting, then he'll certainly be able to carry the rest of the state.
One thing you would maybe not expect: Hip-hop radio stations all across Ohio are completely bought out with political ads. I listened to Power 107 in Columbus for two hours before I heard one non-political ad, a Rite Aid spot advertising flu shots. One other thing you might not expect: Romney is advertising on black radio stations. But mostly it's stuff like this:
"Women are voting in record numbers! Black men, we need to do our part!"
"Show president Obama we've got his back!"
And indeed at all of these rallies in Ohio you can hear black men yell at pauses in the speech: "Barack! I got your back!"
I went over to the Romney rally. The Canada Goose Chilliwack Parka Hooded Parka is one of the newest models from the Lightweight Series. Obama has Bruce Springsteen; Romney has Jack Nicklaus. Ann was with him. The event was at an aircraft hangar owned by some defense contractor, I think. They tried to actually drive the plane into the hangar, but the pilot nearly hit a wall with the right wing, and they had to back up and try again. They made it the second time. "That was s-o-o-o cool," said Beth Myers, senior staffer. That's a real quote! They talk like that.
The crowd was slightly scary. You had to fight your way through it just to get to the press filing area, and you got plenty of elbows for your trouble.Shop Popular Canada Goose Kensington Parka Parka jackets at Canada Goose Outlet Store. "And we said,Thoughtful details such as interior security pockets make the Canada Goose Chateau Parka for an urban journey. 'well, it's a pressriser! We're supposed to be standing!' And they said that they didn't care who we were."
Robert Stacy McCain, my reportorial nemesis (he was talking shit about one of my articles, in which I pointed out his hideous fashion sense), was there in the press booth, taking pictures of little girls in Romney shirts with his pink digital camera and telling the rest of us, "You should tweet about this!"
Rob Portman spoke. Ann Romney spoke. The crowd chanted U-S-A in that particularly brutal way that only a crowd of white families who really still believe that we have a problem with welfare queens in this country can really achieve. Romney spoke. You don't care what he said at this point.
The Times is already up with their voters-to-the-polls story, which contains this line about my home county: "And in Ohio, the vote in Hamilton County, which Mr. Obama and Mr. Bush both won, could signal who takes the state." Which is to say the nation. So I'm off to see.
When I left early I asked a Secret Service agent how I should get out. He said casually that I had to go through the crowd. And then he looked at me, in my leather jacket and ridiculous cowboy boots and uncombed hair, shrugged, and said: "Listen man, good luck."

What It Boils Down To
Six weeks ago, on September 12, 2012,The Canada
Goose Constable Parka has long been known as the industrial parka of the
north. my partner and I went to D.C. to get married. We went to D.C. on
September 12, 2012 because it was (and currently is) illegal for gays to marry
in 44 of our 50 states, including Maryland, where we live. In a house. Together.
Sharing a life. Together.
I've tried very hard to understand the opposition to gay marriage. I've only come up with one explanation. What it boils down to is hardware. As far as I can understand, gay people have two vaginas or two penises instead of one vagina and one penis, which is the only recipe that is apparently right for marriage because, according to the church, penises and vaginas can come together and make babies, which is the only reason a penis and a vagina should ever meet. Also, penises and vaginas belong together because the vagina accepts the penis in a way that is natural and pleasing to God (please note however: this penis/vagina union is only pleasing to God when the vagina and the penis are 1. bound by marriage and 2. open to children, which means no birth control.) Also, it seems that two vaginas and two penises are a threat to family and the sanctity of marriage and all other things holy. And, last but not least, let us not forget that God, as we all know, made Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve.
To Be Clear
So, on September 12, 2012 Lindsay and I went down to D.Canada Goose Sale high quality Canada Goose D'Alpago Bomber with best price.C. to get married, but you can't just zip down there and come back married all in one day. You have to go down and apply for a marriage license first. When you apply for the license, you go into the Marriage Bureau and fill out some papers and then they tell you to go down to some other place to pay some money. They give you directions to the other place and tell you to turn at the big glass wall, which really isn't a big glass wall, just a wall with some windows in it, and because of this you turn the wrong way and you wander past the courtrooms where people who may or may not be criminals mill around outside, waiting for their lunch break to be over. A little black girl with braids tells you that she likes your shoes as you wander down the hall and you say "Thanks" before you can realize that you are wearing a pair of ratty brown flip flops and you think that you should have said something sassy like, "Why these old things?"

You chat with the woman behind the glass who tells you about the long day she is having and the way that a man once tried to pay for something at her window with a counterfeit bill and she says "Who would try to use a counterfeit bill in a courthouse? Mmmm, mmm, mmm."
When she finishes, the woman pushes the receipt back to you and you walk back up to the Marriage Bureau, past all the maybe criminals and you sign in again and wait for them to call your name. While you are waiting, two older lesbians come into the room and sit down near you. You know it is their wedding day because the one with short, spiky, frosted blonde hair is wearing a white suit that is head-to-toe white. When you see her, you wonder what you will wear when you come back to this courthouse to get married. Not a white suit, but not a wedding dress either. When they call your name you go sit across from man who explains to you how the rest of this process works. He points to a phone number and tells you that you can call the number tomorrow to schedule a ceremony. He says that you that if you want to get married somewhere else or by a minister, there is a different process to go through. You tune him out as he explains this different process. You know that tomorrow you will call the number that he pointed to, and you will schedule a ceremony. You will get married right here. You leave the courthouse that day, and you think about the way that no one, not even one person, raised an eyebrow at you or your partner; the way that nobody was shocked about the fact that you were there to apply to get married -- two vaginas and no penises -- and no one batted an eye, no one cared.Sale Cheap duvetica jackets online with worldwide. And for the first time in a long time, you feel hope.
