Rihanna
looked dashing in a thigh-high split black dress while attending the
Rihanna for River Island Collection Launch at the Oxford Street River
Island store in London.
The
We Found Love singer combined it with a white jacket and Manolo Blahnik
heels. Rihanna who debuted her first fashion collection at the London
Fashion Week last month said that designing the collection was 'a
dream'.
"From
where we started, from jotting these down on napkins and pieces of
paper in the hotel room in the middle of the night.Working out of power

Rihanna admitted she was a "little bit selfish" when she was designing her range of clothing for River Island.
"I designed everything that I would want to wear,A great blend of our authentic Canada Goose Whistler Parka Parka
functionality and cutting edge style. and for the women that I'm with.
I'm with a large group of women who have different sizes, different
tastes, different body types.Buy the most favourable Canada Goose Mystique Parka Spirit
Mens light weight quick drying Karen Millen Dresses. I wanted to design
something that everybody could wear because I wanted all my friends to
have something too, but I'd still wear everything," the Caribbean singer
added.
The Diamonds singer also defined the typical woman she is hoping to dress.
"Sassy,
fun and someone who's not afraid of having fun with fashion, but
everything is simple, everything is classic. I wanted to make things
that ten years from now we'll not know what era, they'll not have an era
attached to it or a brand or whatever,'' she said.

If
you haven’t heard of the Japanese women’s brand Sacai, you should check
it out (stores in the L.A. area include Barneys New York, H. Lorenzo
and Noodle Stories). Since 1999, designer Chitose Abe has been building
her business on the idea of hybrid pieces spliced and diced with
feminine details — cardigans with a gentle waterfall of silk pleats in
the back, for example, or utility jackets with soft bustles.
2013 Fashion Week coverage
She
showed her fall 2013 collection on the runway during Paris Fashion
Week. And thankfully, there were no smoke machines or live bands to
distract from the issue at hand, just a paneled mirror backdrop to
better see the clothing and details from every angle.
The
look: Hybrid fashion with an emphasis on fusing feminine shapes with
menswear-inspired tailoring and fabrications such as wool checks and
outdoorsy quilted nylon. A cape-back trench coat dress with a velvet
front. Mixed plaid and silk pleated skirt. This Canada Goose Chateau Parka Orange
has generous appearance that make you look fashion and attractive in
the crowd. Nordic-style Fair Isle sweater-coats decorated with feathers.
Ochre-colored lace biker jacket with green windowpane check peplum. A
fur, nylon and windowpane-check bomber jacket worn over skinny pants
with nylon inserts. Quilted nylon spats worn over boots.
The verdict: Immensely creative and wearable takes on the masculine-feminine trend, and some truly novel outerwear.
