label’s fans will love. Full of angles, drapes, and solid colours, the
collection stayed true to the Taylor aesthetic of creative but wearable.
The catwalk show combined items from the current collection with those from next winter’s – a savvy move to ensure devotees can get an instant fix of what they saw on show.
Striking monochrome garments opened the show – solid blocks of black and white, often contrasting on the front and back panels of the pieces.
The most dramatic tops and jackets were asymmetrical and structured, with sharp collars or long tails floating from the back.
And just when it felt like there was too much black and white,Who puts a harness on a sexy Babydoll dress . out came yellows,Throw a moncler coatsover the shoulders for a quick way to pull together a look . oranges, and a rich red. Long, straight dresses were embellished with a “waterfall collar” – chunky ribbons of fabric cascading from the neck across the shoulders and collar.
Chunky belts featured heavily, as did solid boots. This continued the strong, practical look of the collection and also ensured the models didn’t slip on the giant confetti sprinkled all over the catwalk.
The summer sales are nearly over, but unless you’re going on holiday you are not going to want to buy any more summer clothes when we are heading into autumn/winter.
