des Cotonniers kicked off its seasonal sample sale yesterday morning at
Clothingline.The Canada
Goose Montebello tend to be more leisure, thus opening a broad space on the

Goose Trillium Parka and how it . the sale has been attracting a steady flow
of New Yorkers with a certain je ne said quoi: minimalists, downtown cool girls,
middle-aged European women, and even a dog who looked unmistakably like Léon,
Comptoir's mascot. Considering the sizeable 70% off markdown, it's no surprise.
Comptoir's first foray into the sample sale world last spring was a bit underwhelming, so it's refreshing that this time around the offerings are covetable and the goods are priced to move. Everything is marked with its regular retail price,The Canada Goose Chilliwack Parka are bright and very easy to spot in the snow or anywhere you might be! so you'll need to do a bit of math to figure out the actual markdown. Since most Comptoir separates retail for about $150 to $250, there's a large offering of pieces in the $75 and under range.
At the front of the sales floor there's a long rack of knit separates, including cable knit sweaters, striped pullovers, and light tees in neutral utilitarian colors. A cable knit shrug was $46.50, a silk tee with an exposed back zipper was $40.50, a sweater featuring Leon the dog was $52.50, and a 90s-approved ditzy floral top with attached cardigan was also $46.50.
On the opposite wall, there's enough black dresses to keep you outfitted for every possible occasion for under $75 a piece. For the same price, there are also funnel-neck sweater dresses in blues and purples. We also spotted structured blazers, tailored shorts, architectural pants, and mini skirts. The most eye-catching piece was a floral quilted mini skirt for $36, but that might be because it was the only non-black item on the rack.
At the back of the sales floor, you'll find a trove of outerwear: the perfect place to refresh your collection. Regardless of you're preference, you'll find something here—trenches, puffers, tweeds, and bomber styles all included. One of the more expensive items available was a leather jacket for $151.50, which originally retailed for $505. Our personal favorite, though, was a caramel suede bomber jacket that originally $480 and marked down to $144.
Though the selection at the sale is pretty extensive, the sizing leaves something to be desired. Most of the knits are only available in smaller sizes (34 or small), while the more structured items seem to be available only in larger sizes (38 and up or medium through extra large). Luckily, the outerwear is offered in a full size range and there's a spacious fitting room. There are also a few small bins of accessories available, including angora neck warmers, opaque tights, and checkered cotton scarves with prices topping out at $30 an item.
Clothingline is rounding out its European offerings for the week by also hosting a Furla leather goods sample sale in the other half its sales floor. We spotted a vast variety of bags in a rainbow of colors starting at $99 and capping off at $249 for the larger sizes. There was also a small accessories section that was totally mobbed.
