arcade in the High Street, which have experienced growth despite the poor
economic climate.
Katwalk Casa, which first opened in August last year, has now doubled in size after taking over the next-door unit.
They now sell leather shoes, jeans and casual clothes imported from France and Italy as well as fashion accessories including handbags, purses, scarves, jewellery and belts.
Annamaria Quinn, who owns Katwalk Casa with Mary Lloyd, said: “Many of our customers had asked for a shoe shop, and when the unit next door became vacant we felt it was an opportunity not to be missed.
“Royal Wootton Bassett needs shoes – and we are very pleased to provide them.”
Visitors to the opening earlier this month made the most of a 10 per cent discount on all stock as well a enjoying a glass of sparkling wine.

Lesley said: “We are at that point where we’re really looking forward to expanding and opening up the new business.
“We’re going to have a new deli bar, where customers can choose their sandwich fillings and watch the sandwiches being made, and we are having a new kitchen installed so customers can watch their breakfasts and lunches being made.”
They are now also offering a range of takeaway food and are providing free wi-fi and the use of computers. Customers can also hire the premises for private functions and make use of an outside catering service.
